Hi! I’m Starbie B!

I’m a western sidereal astroherbalist, fiber artist, foodie, and eco-womanist (a term coined by Melanie L. Harris).

My 3H is very prominent and my interests and skills show it! I’m endlessly curious and love to follow a thread to get to the bottom of something. My love of astrology started when I was a child, and my first experiences as an herbalist started with my mother making bush tea and identifying plants and herbs every time we visited family in St. Kitts and throughout the Caribbean. Herbalism is one of the ways I stay connected to my heritage and the land I currently live on Turtle Island.

My astroherbalism practice is rooted in the understanding that the earth and the cosmos are interconnected, and we must unlearn the harmful ways we’ve been taught to interact with the Earth and the people around us. I work with astrology for personal and collective healing and treat transits as opportunities for growth.
